When high school sweethearts are true soulmates; this is what their love story looks like.

Aliya & Evan came to me after seeing photos I captured for another couple in their church congregation. I was honoured that they referenced specific photos to recreate that they loved from the previous shoot.
​
With a focus on faith, they asked me to photograph their engagement session in Kananaskis while wearing their wedding outfits so that their wedding day could be spent focused on their relationship with God & their families.

If Cupid traded wings for computer skills, and wasn’t afraid to use her own arrows, she’d probably look a lot like Sean. After spotting Kyle on campus, Sean conveniently volunteered for IT work in his building just for the chance to meet him.
Kyle never stood a chance.
Sean & Kyle wanted to do a relaxed, and authentic home-based engagement shoot to showcase their beautiful first home that they custom built together.
They wanted their photos to capture the emotion of an average cozy night spent drinking wine, playing chess, and watching the office.

They did a wonderful job incorporating their beloved dog Bentley in both their engagement photoshoot at home, and their wedding day at The Fairmont in Calgary.

Ally and Sean wanted a mountain engagement photoshoot as unique as themselves. They were brought together by a shared interest in Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons & all things fantasy. Wanting to incorporate their shared passion into their engagement and wedding day photography, we held an enchanting engagement photoshoot in the mountains.
Their love truly shone through every photo.
With cultural elements incorporated from both sides of the family, and little fantasy easter-eggs scattered throughout, their spectacular two-day wedding was a wonderful experience to be a part of. ​

I am so excited to speak to you. Seriously.
I am easy to get along with and look forward to hearing about what you have planned for your day. My passion is assisting in crafting a creative vision that extends far beyond shoulder-to-shoulder photos. If you have creative ideas - I'm all ears; if you want some help - that's my specialty!
I am very prompt about getting back to inquiries via email, text, and DM, though I find getting on the phone the easiest way to touch base, learn about one another, and see if we would work well together.

It's Wedding Day
Lights! Camera! WEDDING! By this point, we've already gotten to know one another quite well. We've talked in depth about how the day will flow, any important details that I should be aware of, as well as any creative visions you or I may have specific to your venue and personality.
​It's now your job to enjoy your day, and mine to capture the moments that you will cherish for a lifetime.

Complimentary Engagement Session
While some people are natural born models, the rest of us (myself included) don't feel at home in front of the camera. This very well may be your first professional photoshoot. That's why I always offer a complimentary engagement session to all my wedding clients.
Not only does this allow us to get to know one another before your big day (nobody wants a complete stranger all up in their face on their wedding day) but it also acts as a "practice run", so you get a feel for being photographed, and are able to feel far more comfortable with the process when your wedding day arrives.

Sneak Peeks & Final Gallery
By the time the day is done, I know you're eager to see and share some of your precious moments. That's why I always prioritize a fast turnaround. You can expect a small sneak peak within 24-48hrs (many times even sooner as I can't wait to get home and start editing), and the full gallery within 2-4 weeks.
