About Me
Hi, I’m Noam. And yes… I’m genuinely camera shy.
The funny thing is, "CameraShy" already existed long before weddings became my full-time career. I had been using that name online for over ten years never knowing it would eventually become the foundation for the way I photograph some of life’s biggest moments.
Photography was my first and has always been my greatest passion. I got my first camera when I was 10 years old, and I've pretty much always had one in my hand since.
The irony? I have always HATED getting my own photo taken.
Most people who inquire with me say some version of:
“We’re awkward in front of the camera.”
“We have no idea how to pose.”
“We just want photos that feel natural.”
Honestly, same.

Most people don't feel comfortable in front of a camera.
That's actually the point.

Don't Want Your Wedding To Feel Like A Photoshoot?
Couples hire me because they want someone calm beside them during one of the biggest and most emotional days of their life. Someone who can guide when needed, disappear when appropriate, and capture the moments that matter without making the entire day feel staged. That means: helping you feel relaxed instead of self-conscious giving natural direction without forcing fake poses capturing real emotions instead of recreating them noticing the tiny in-between moments you didn’t even realize were happening helping the day flow smoothly instead of adding stress to it. The photos matter deeply to me. But how you feel while they’re being taken matters just as much.

I Don’t Just Show Highlights
Transparency is a key pillar to my business.
Anyone can post 20 beautiful photos from a wedding.
What matters is whether an entire gallery tells the story.
That’s why I openly share full engagement sessions and full wedding galleries throughout my website.
Not just the “portfolio images.”
Real weddings. Real people. Real lighting conditions. Real moments.
Because when you trust someone with your wedding day, you deserve to know exactly what you’re getting.
Documentary First.
Editorial When It Matters.
My style sits somewhere between documentary storytelling and timeless portraiture.
I want your gallery to feel emotional, cinematic, and beautiful without losing authenticity.
So while I absolutely create intentional portraits that are frame-worthy and polished, I’m equally focused on:the way your dad looks at you during the ceremony, your friends losing it during speeches, your partner squeezing your hand during quiet moments, the chaos, the emotion, the movement, the laughter, and atmosphere of the day.
The goal isn’t to manufacture moments.
It’s to preserve them beautifully.

You Don’t Need To Know How To Pose
This is probably the biggest misconception couples have before booking me as their photographer. They think the people on my website are naturally photogenic. They’re not.
The couples you see throughout my website are real people who usually started out nervous too. That’s why I include complimentary engagement sessions with most wedding packages.
Not just because the photos are important - but because it gives us a chance to get comfortable with each other before the wedding day ever arrives.
Nobody wants a complete stranger in their face for 8+ hours on one of the most emotional days of their life.
The engagement session allows you to learn how effortless photos can actually feel, and allows us to build trust before your wedding day. By the time your wedding day comes, my goal is for you to forget I am there as much as possible.
“That was way easier than we expected.”
"That was actually kind of fun."
Is what I love to hear
Fast Replies & Turnaround. Real Communication.
One of the biggest frustrations I hear from couples during wedding planning is feeling ignored. I never want my couples to feel like just another inquiry sitting in someone’s inbox.
When you reach out to me, you’re talking directly to me. Not an AI chatbot, or an outsourced team. I care deeply about communication and being present for my couples throughout the process.
Whether that means helping build timelines, brainstorming engagement ideas, calming nerves, fixing veils, pinning boutonnieres, adjusting dresses, or sprinting through rain to save portraits. I’m all in.
And because I know how excited people are to relive their day, I prioritize fast delivery too.
You’ll receive sneak peeks incredibly quickly - often before the reception is even over - and full galleries delivered while the emotions still feel fresh.

A Little More About Me
Before photography became my full-time career, I studied psychology and worked closely with children and families.
That background shaped the way I approach weddings far more than any photography course ever did.
It taught me how to read people, how to help someone feel safe, and how to bring calm energy into emotional environments.
And honestly, with pressure, expectations, family dynamics, timelines, nerves, and excitement weddings are emotional environments.
My role is rarely just “person holding a camera.”
It’s creating an environment where you can actually be present enough to enjoy your day.
At The End Of The Day…
I care about the photos deeply; but more than anything, I care about how you feel looking back at them years from now.
I want you to look back at your gallery and remember what it sounded like, what it felt like, how hard everyone laughed, how emotional it all was.
I don't want you to remember it feeling like a photoshoot.
If that sounds like the kind of experience you’re looking for, I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
Call me old-school but I like getting on the phone, and I make myself available to do so. I don’t think a consult should take 10 email exchanges and 2 weeks to book. Call, or text me at 403 428 9700 and I - not some AI or call centre worker- will either pick up or get back to you asap.
